SAY CHEESE Photo Contest

I know that Greenville (and surrounding areas) are covered in a yellow blanket – but has anyone else realized that SPRING IS HERE!?!?! I’m so excited that spring has finally decided to show its face. Spring means new beginnings and that means new ideas! It is now time for Lovelace Photography’s first “Say Cheese” Photo Contest. This is your chance to win a free photo shoot with LP (Lovelace Photography). Make sure you read below for the details. The rules are simple, and the winner gets their very own shoot with LP absolutely FREE!

1. Find your favorite, recent picture of your child - newborn to 11 years old.

2. Send your ONE favorite picture to me via email lovelacephotography@yahoo.com I will then post them to a special contest album on my facebook fan page.

3. Join my facebook fan page, either by searching for “Lovelace Photography” on facebook, or by the link found here:

4. Send people (your friends, family, co-workers, etc.) to join my facebook fan page and VOTE for their favorite picture (i.e. YOURS!)

5. The winner will be announced on April 30th based on the total number of votes for each entered image. Votes are counted as comments on each individual image/entry. A PERSON MUST BE A FAN OF LOVELACE PHOTOGRAPHY’S FACEBOOK FAN PAGE TO VOTE. Votes from people that are not fans will not be counted!

RULES!

- Photo entries must be submitted by THURSDAY, April 15th! I will post all entries on FRIDAY, April 16th, and the voting will begin immediately!!

- ONE entry per person.

- ONLY separate comments to a picture that state “vote” will be counted as a vote. Simply clicking “like” by the picture will NOT count as a vote!

- ONE vote per person! Multiple votes will negate ALL votes by the poster.

- Voting will continue from April 16th through April 30th. Winner will be announced May 1st.

- Submitted images must be of a child or children 11 years and under.

- For obvious reasons, photos taken by professional photographers will not be accepted.

THE PRIZE!!!

The winner will receive a complimentary session with me and a CD with the best shots in full-resolution, with a print release!

The session must take place in the Greenville area, and is to be redeemed by August 1, 2010.

NOTE: A signed model release will also be required prior to the session.

Flowers and Faces - Photo Shoot Short Sessions

I don't know about you but I am so excited that the warm weather is FINALLY coming. I am so tired of cold and so ready for GREEN grass! In honor of Spring I want to open up a weekend for Springtime photo shoots at the Daffodil Field in Greenville. Hurry up and schedule though - space is limited!

Family Time: The Pools

Meet Cohen...and Donna and Aubrey! I had the honor of being Cohen's first "pro" photographer last week. He is such an adorable little guy and his parents are so very proud! They were awesome to photograph -I enjoyed it immensely!

He had enough of the camera! ;)

I am thrilled for this family and their new addition! I know GOD has great things in store for this little one! He's got great parents who love him and I know they desire GOD's best for him. I can't wait to watch him grow up! Thank you for letting me share these moments with you all!

New Item: Inspirational Prints

I'm so excited to be working on a new project! A friend of mine and I have been talking back and forth about designing inspirational prints but have never done it. So I got "inspired" one day and decided to take the project to task! I'm am absolutely loving this project! This is one of my favorite prints so far:



These prints can be ordered up to 11x14 size. If a larger print is requested let me know and we can redesign it to fit your size specifications. It's amazing to me to see the beauty of God's handiwork and to know that He created it for US! That's the inspiration behind these prints. To couple GOD's creation with HIS Word. I'm currently working on more designs and will post them soon!

Free Photo Shoot

For quite some time I've been studying other photographers - their style, business procedures, methods, etc. I like to watch and see what works for them - and what doesn't! I am inspired by so many fellow photographers and designers. It is fascinating to me to see their businesses grow and in that you see their skill just evolve! It's awesome!!!! I have a few forms of advertising I've been working with but I want to continue with my favorite: WORD OF MOUTH! When my customer's share with their friends about their experience with Lovelace Photography it is the ultimate compliment!

So, in honor of the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons I am running a new contest. We currently have 55 fans - I want to see that grow and I do mean GROW! By Christmas I want to see us hit 250 fans. I don't think that it's an unattainable goal. I know I'm going to need help reaching it though so I'm running a contest.

Rice: Family

In July I was able to do a family shoot for the Rice family. They are such a sweet family that I am blessed to be friends with. We attempted to pattern their pictures after ones they had taken when their first daughter was born. It was quite a challenge, but such fun! We really got some great shots. Hope you enjoy!
